Ranitemp Intravenous Infusion is clear and slightly yellowish solution. It contains 10mg/ml of paracetamol. Paracetamol is a white crystalline solid or powder chemically described as 4-acetylaminophenol.

Type 1 clear, colorless glass bottle x 100ml (net content). Box of 1’s.
Indications:
Ranitemp is indicated for the short-term treatment of moderate pain, especially following surgery and for the short-term treatment of fever, when administration by intravenous route is clinically justified by an urgent need to treat pain or hyperthermia and/or when other route of administration are not possible.
Dosage and Administration
Intravenous use:
Paracetamol 10mg/ml, intravenous Infusion should not be mixed with other medicinal products. Paracetamol 1mg per administration up to four times a day. The minimum interval between each administration must be 4 hours in patients without hepatic impairment. In patients with renal and/ or hepatic impairment the minimum interval doses must not be less than 6 hours. The maximum daily dose from all sources of Paracetamol must not exceed 4g.
Additional precaution should be taken while using in cardiac patients.
The 100 ml presentation is restricted to adults, adolescents and children weighing more than 33kg.
Method of Administration:
The Paracetamol solution is administered as a 15 minute intravenous infusion, it contains no antimicrobial agent, and is for single use in one patient only.
